LTT

LTT stands for Logistics between Today and Tomorrow, a Dutch company founded in 2002.

Our experience since 1992 in Dutch food retail enabled us to specialize in the development of tools for stock control in retail stores.

LTT is characterized by experience, focus, and simplicity through which a practical approach becomes possible for the complex matter of Stock Control.

History

The founders of LTT have worked for a decade in food retail (C1000). Since the nineties research took place in the field of stock control.

Research on forecasting algorithms, as well as on the quality of data, and the influence of holidays, promotions, and weather.

Legacy

Stock and stock control is getting more important. Instead of stock being a part of a Point of Sale (POS) system or an ERP system, stock deserves an application of its own.

Focus is on exceptions. There are many items, many orders, many transactions, etc. Manage by exception.

Innovation en renewing is desirable and necessary, but make sure that vision and strategy remains attainable. Adopt a practical approach.

Anticipate the impact of ownership and ensure the application is user friendly and simple to implement and maintain.

Our Vision

Store operation and supply chain management are getting more complex by the day. Operational costs and assortment (mutations) are increasing, while margins are under pressure and productivity and efficiency are decreasing. Insights and overviews are hard to obtain. Because of these circumstances the need for tools has strongly increased.

LTT combines her experience in this field with innovative software, and developed a practical approach to the deployment of tools throughout the entire supply chain.

The basic rule is that stock control in stores is crucial for the entire supply chain; with the store as the undisputed starting point.
